Rancho Los Lagartos

Rancho Los Lagartos consists of 4,500 acres located 5 miles north of Del Rio, Texas. Our western boundary is comprised of a national park, Amistad National Recreational Area, and Lake Amistad. Two large fingers of the lake are on the ranch. This low fenced ranch was purchased in 2005 and has been intensively managed for whitetail deer and protein fed year round. 2009 was the first year that the ranch was commercially hunted and we have limited the number of hunters to 10 per year. 2009/2010 photos show improvement from the 2008 photos and with protein, above average rainfall and natural feed conditions, 2010 should be even better.
